The York Medical Society Rooms were open to the public for the annual York Residents Festival.

Hundreds of visitors toured the Rooms and enjoyed the excellent cakes on offer.

Thank you to all those who helped and the residents of York for their generosity.

We are very pleased to announce that we raised over £460 for this year’s chosen local charity: The Joseph Rowntree Theatre.

The Annual Oration took place on Saturday 11 October 2025. Professor Bernard Keavney gave an enlightening talk - Heart Disease in the 21st Century: Genes, Prevention and Treatment - to 75 YMS members and members of the public.
